Fonvielle Lewis Foote & Messer is pleased to announce Claire C. Davis, C.L.A., New Case Coordinator, recently was elected Member at Large of the Big Bend Paralegal Association (BBPA) for 2004-2005. Ms. Davis is an 11-year member of BBPA, which is the local chapter of the Paralegal Association of Florida (PAF), an affiliate of the National Association of Legal Assistants. During this time, she has mentored prospective paralegals and assisted with professional seminars. Both the BBPA and PAF exercise leadership, provide a strong continuing voice and vision to enhance professional standards, promote continuing education and encourage a high order of ethical and professional attainment within the paralegal profession. Ms. Davis obtained her national certification as a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) in May 1996. Those with CLA certification are required to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and attend continuing legal education courses and seminars to maintain certified status. Ms. Davis has been with Fonvielle Lewis Foote & Messer for 15 years.
